Kinetic Dissent
I Will Fight No More Forever
Roadracer, 1991
Kinetic Dissent were a progressive metal band from Atlanta, Georgia. I
Will Fight No More Forever is the only release produced by the band
before they split up. The material is mostly solid throughout, revealing a
smart group of talented musicians who exhibit an impressive musical vision
towards song-craft. Essentially, this album can perhaps be viewed as a
combination of ideas inspired from Ride The Lightning-era Metallica
and Operation:MIndcrime from Queesnryche. Progressive rock band
such as Kansas and King Crimson also appear to have been of some degree of
influence.
