Moving further away from the pagan black metal of their past, Behemoth
now perform blast-heavy and technically punctual death metal with black metal
undertones. For a quick reference point, the band's music is somewhat of a
combination of Morbid Angel's Covenant and Emperor's Anthems To The
Welkin At Dusk. Superb instrumental skill of all members attributes to the
high mechanical quality of this album, while the rage evident within the band's
attack keeps this music from suffering a clinical fate.

Quite similar in overall presentation and intention to Satanica, Thelema.6
increases the technicality while sacrificing a percentage of atmosphere in the
process. As is often the case with most bands, as Behemoth have grown in
technical skill and acquired more advanced capabilities in recording technique,
they have gradually shed the atmospheric magic and raw emotional appeal that
made earlier works valuable. See Dimmu Borgir, Emperor, and Satyricon for
similar soul sacrifice.
